LH Support in Rogers

LH Support in Rogers, Arkansas

Luteinizing Hormone Support

Stimulate & Maintain Testosterone Production

Although it may provide some short term benefit initially, throwing testosterone alone at the issue of a hormonal deficiency can create new symptoms - and make existing ones even worse.

That's why your subscription at The Edge will combine testosterone replacement therapy with LH Support supplementation.

LH Support stands for luteinizing hormone

A man’s LH supports the HPG (hypothalamic pituitary gonadal) axis and helps maintain testosterone and sperm production. Supplementing testosterone by itself will not help with this issue because of how the hormonal cascade functions.

A common problem that men experience, if they’re supplementing testosterone by itself, is a decrease in the size of the testicles. Obviously, most men do not like that side effect.

Luckily, LH support in Rogers, Arkansas combined with TRT can solve that specific issue. This will also help with maintaining fertility and preserving the production of other hormones. The Edge will always provide an informed and individualized treatment plan that is unique to your case based on your labs, because everyone’s body is different.

We are able to serve patients from all over Northwest Arkansas, including Bentonville, Springdale, Fayetteville, and beyond.

Preparation

If recommended by Dr. Haney, your testosterone injection will be combined with a separate LH Support injection at each visit. Having a LH (luteinizing hormone) analog is important for maintaining the HPG axis to create a more leveled-out experience. Meaning, testosterone levels will peak within the first few days post-injection.

Cool Down

Following this peak, those levels will slowly recede leading up to the next injection in succession. This process is cyclical, which explains why most men feel better at the beginning of their injection week vs later.

The Results

Having LH support upholds the HPG axis, so men will sustain blood-testosterone levels more evenly once those levels recede post-injection. This will also alleviate some of the symptoms that would usually come with the "peak and valley" effect.
